A Bedtime Story (or two)

On Friday night, we got both boys dressed in their pajamas. Joshua immediately went to Caleb and said "a towel." Shawn & I giggled - Caleb's PJ's were a terry cloth material that did resemble a towel. It's amusing to see what connections Joshua makes these days. He's a fascinating kiddo! And as of Friday he weighed 25 lbs 9 oz.
Then last night, Joshua said "night night. See you morning!" Soooo sweet! Then he said "bye bye" to Daddy as he was leaving his room. We've been giving Joshua breathing treatments as his cold sounds awful and he's laboring to take deep breaths. Please pray he makes it through this cold on his own!
Finally, I'm proud to say that last night for the first time ever, Caleb spent the night in the pack 'n play in our room in between feedings. He did a great job of sleeping, and we slept so much better without him in bed in between us. We kept our room very warm, though, so we'll have to find a happy medium. Caleb was also extraordinarily tired from a busy day yesterday of me trying to make him nap on his own without being held (which he didn't give into). But, I'll take him being up literally all day long to have some sleep at night. Hooray for Caleb (and us!).

Joshua is growing up so fast and he is doing so well being the big brother. Caleb seems to be doing well as well. Glad to hear all is going better. Although this is what we can expect from kids! :)

Okay...
1) Caleb is adorable! Those eyes are so vibrant!
2) Poor Joshua and his cold. Hope he feels better soon.
3) How annoying at Roseville.
4) Joshua is doing AWESOME with his talking. Don't wish for more...he is at the exact same place Jude is and Jude is six months older than him...8 if you count to his actual due date). Sounds like he is doing INCREDIBLE! I'm so impressed with Joshua, Val. Seriously. I think he is very advanced in so many areas.
5) I miss you! I totally know what you mean about not having much time for things these days. I thought it would get better...but it just keeps getting busier!
6) Congratulations on getting baby out of your bed! Wish we had done it sooner!

I think those were all my comments. It was good to catch up on your blog.

Love you all!
