Ever since Easter, we've been talking with the Grube's about taking our kiddos to Bounce U. Finally, we had a Friday work out with our schedules & the Bounce Place! We met our friends in Annville after Daddy got out of work.
The first thing we did was get into the front bounce house with the boxing gloves and basketball hoops. For the most part, we just jumped in there and enjoyed it. Isabella wasn't too sure at first, but soon enough she was having a blast!
Next we headed to the obstacle courses. Even though it was warm in there, we all wore long pants and long sleeves. Chris rolled up his sleeves and got brush burn on his elbow and his knees. :( :( :( But, I think the rest of us left there injury-free.
I think the favorite of the night was the big slide. All the kids loved it, and I think even the adults enjoyed it.
Then we went to another obstacle course area, one that was smaller for the little kiddos and one that was a bit bigger with another little slide. The kids LOVED it. The hour and a half flew by!
After we were done, we followed them to a little pizza shop in Mt Gretna for dinner. After a week of nothing but rice & beans, pizza tasted like sheer heaven!
We always have a good time with our friends. The kids love playing together, the guys enjoy talking about sports & life, and us girls always have lots to talk about. :)
And Bounce U is always a blast. I couldn't believe that Joshua took a bag, climbed the big slide himself, and then slid down all by himself without anyone with him when we got there! Later, he went with one of us parents or Chris or Lisa. Isabella asked to go down with me, too. It's nice that our kids enjoy each other and aren't afraid to be with the other adults, etc.
Soon we said our goodbyes and headed home to go to bed, knowing we had an early morning planned the next day. Thanks for the fun times, friends! We'll do it again sometime.
