Reflection 36: The Best Way to Save the Day is to Pray

Prayer is the Most Powerful Problem-Solving Tool We Possess.
We don't need to panic when things don't go right. We don't need to turn ourselves inside out trying to come up with a solution when a problem seems insurmountable. And we don't need to look for a big, red S to plaster on your chest. The first step to solving our problems and the best way to calm our fears is to pray. Prayer plugs us into the greatest power in the universe. Prayer opens our minds to the wisdom of the ages. Prayer takes our focus off our problems and puts it where it needs to be - on God, our protector and provider. Let's remember, my husband, never to panic when trouble comes. Let's remember we can always go to God for help.

'Prayer has a mighty power to sustain the soul in every season of its distress and sorrow.' ~C. H. Spurgeon

Keep on praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 NLT
