Last Day of Freedom, First Day of September

On Wednesday, we knew that school would start for me & the Bean the following day. When we were deciding what to do, Aunt Jen called. I told her about how much produce we had in our house and she said watermelon sounded good. So we went to her house to play in her back yard and I took our watermelon along. The kids polished it off, which was great! They always like playing in Jamie's old hammock. The boy on the left is Jen's neighbor's son. She also came over for a little bit with her kids: her son just turned four, her daughter just turned two, and she has a six-week old.
It was another gorgeous day outside, and we had fun playing.
Happy first day of September!
