Picture Sunshine & Fresh Fruit - Day Three

Sunday started with refreshing sleep and a wonderful breakfast at the hotel. This time, Aunt Erica (or Air-ca, as Bean lovingly called her) had off the entire day. We started by going to a park right on the Peace River. Joshua had a BLAST! Since the other days he had been somewhat couped up with traveling, this was his day to RUN in the SUN! Here he is playing with the train...All aboard! Choo-choo!Joshua even made a little friend while we were playing in the park...Grandma & I stayed cool by sitting in the shade with Caleb, who we tried hard to keep out of the sun. Joshua was lathered in sunscreen, and Caleb sat in the stroller.
Meanwhile Joshua was giggling with delight on all the slides...
And, there was fun to be had on the see-saw!Grandpa spotted parakeets living in the wild in these trees. (All I spotted were ants & dragon flies!)Grandma & Grandpa enjoyed seeing Joshua play.Next, we headed to the sea shell factory, where there were also fun things to do. Grandma sat in the "Garden of Eden" with all the stuffed animal "wildlife." There was even an elephant's head!
I missed seeing the Bean on this chair (which I heard was a hoot). I was out nursing Caleb in the sweltering van. Soon, I couldn't take the heat, and I brought him into the restrooms to finish up. They were quite lovely - we had lots of new firsts for eating on the trip. When I found them, they were playing games. Joshua won a car with all his tickets that he just loves!
The cutest was watching him play with this popcorn machine. You're supposed to catch the balls of popcorn in your bucket. He just loved this one!Outside he got to feed super huge fish and a plethora of sea turtles. It was really neat!Grandma cooked us an amazing supper that night, which included delicious fresh Florida fruit...strawberries, watermelon, peaches, canteloupe, grapes, etc. YUM!
We left to see the sunset from there...pictures to follow. Soon Day 3 came to a close...time flies quickly when you're having fun!
