Shawn had to go back to work on Tuesday, January 3, and Joshua's preschool started the same morning. It was FREEZING that day with 30+ mile an hour wind gusts. I don't think I've ever felt so cold in my life. We all got out our hats, gloves, and heavy coats. January is typically cold, though, so I guess we knew we should be prepared! It was a rude awakening that our holidays we're officially over. Thankfully the next few days weren't nearly so brutal, and it got back up into the 50s by that weekend.
Friday & Saturday (1/6 and 1/7) we were outside playing most of the day. We went for a walk that Friday morning and then played in the garage with the basketball net. Daddy fixed it (turning it around - WHOOPS! - and put batteries in so it makes the sounds when they make a basket). So fun! We love days when we can be outdoors and still feel our fingers and toes!
