Joshua is doing well! Praise the Lord!

Surgery was better than we expected - they even fixed another problem with his digestive track while they were performing surgery. Part of his diaphram was up in his esophagus, which was causing some of the reflux issues he's been having. So, while they were there (rather than have him come in for surgery again) they went ahead and fixed it and stitched him (on the inside) there, too. He has good color, and he's on lots of pain medicine. He's awake, though, and sucking fiercly on the pacifier they gave him. I can't tell if he's hungry or just sore. He has a chest tube coming out of his side to help get rid of extra fluid and air so that his lung will start to expand more fully. We're in the N.I.C.U. here, and we're probably just going to spend the night in the hospital if we're able to. I'll write more soon! Thanks for praying! The Lord has been faithful!
