Cookie Baking & Gingerbread House Making

On Saturday, December 8, we went up to Reading to bake cookies at Nonie & Poppy's house with Aunt Alicia, Aunt Missy, Aunt Gayle, Jordon, Grant and Jenavieve (and eventually Aunt Hilary came downstairs to say hello). While we were there, we took a quick trip to Toys R Us to use a coupon we had while Poppy watched the boys. This was the table at the end of our time there.
On Sunday, December 9, we did our annual gingerbread house decorating at my sister Jen's house. This year I offered to provide dinner and took BBQ in a crock pot, rolls, cheese, apple sauce, carrots, chips & pretzels, oranges and Oreos for dessert. We also took some candy that Shawn picked up and the candy we keep in the freezer from the ghosts of Christmas past.
They made little graham cracker "gingerbread" houses for the kids and then a big one for the adults. My boys were more interested in playing with their cousins than decorating, but they still did a good job.
And, of course, they sampled some candy...probably eating as much as they put on the houses.

Thanks for doing the gingerbread houses, Aunt Jen & Uncle Mike!
