yad drawkcab

I told the boys one afternoon after preschool that we should have a backward day. What would that look like, I asked them? After a few ideas from me, they started coming up with some good ones on their own.
  • Instead of good morning, we'd say goodnight!
  • Instead of telling Daddy goodbye when he leaves for work, we'd tell him hello!
  • Instead of getting dressed, we'd wear our PJs
  • Instead of wearing our shoes on our feet, we'd put them on our hands
  • Instead of breakfast, we'd eat dessert
  • Instead of brushing our teeth, we'd brush our noses
  • etc.
It was all fun and games and there were lots of giggles and laughs as we came up with more and more ideas. Then Joshua said "Instead of going to sleep, we'll stay up all night!" I quit laughing. That did NOT sound like fun as Caleb was wholeheartedly agreeing. We decided to skip backward day and just have a normal day.
