Shawn turns 30 Monday, May 12, so to celebrate we invited both sides of our family over for cake & icecream and snacks.
From Shawn's side of the family, we had Missy & Kevin, Brian & Gayle with Grant & Jenavieve, Nonie & Poppy with Jordon, Hilary, and Grandma Good.
From my side of the family, we had Mom, Becky & Tim, Mike & Jen with Grace, Faith, Emma & Daniel. All totaled, we had eight children and 13 adults.
The evening began with all the kids tossing the 30th birthday balloons around. It was cute to watch...
For some reason, Faith asked Kevin to hold the balloons when they started playing with other toys.
Then we lit the candles and sang to the old man. :) :) :) Everyone ate the delicious cake from Giant, ice cream and snacks.
Afterward, the kiddos (and some of the adults) headed outside to play, even though it was chilly.
I thought the picture below was so cute (thanks, Aunt Missy!). Daddy is helping Joshua kick the ball, which the Bean loves!
As it got dark, the kids came in and the family wished us farewell. Shawn was blessed with many nice presents, but most of all he enjoyed celebrating his birthday with family. Thanks to everyone who came to make the evening special!
