Time-to-Turn-Around Tuesday

As we packed our bags, Caleb got into everything, including the fridge! He is such an explorer!Tuesday morning Shawn, Caleb & I ate breakfast down in the breakfast room and then headed back to grab our things around 9 am when Grandma & Grandpa arrived (unfortunately, Erica had to go back to work that morning).

We drove straight to the Tampa Airport, where Grandpa bought ol' blue eyes a Grover and a little Cookie Monster for Caleb Luke. Joshua has been carrying both around since we've gotten home. We ate lunch at TGIFridays and then headed to our gate to board the plane. The flight was a little turbulent due to a storm, and I was so nauscious. The boys slept for the first half, which was nice. Once we landed, they couldn't get the gear up to the door to let us out, and we had to wait on the plane an extra half hour. While we were thankful to be on the ground, we were all ready to leave. Finally, we were able to get off, get our suitcase, catch the bus back to our car (Joshua didn't mind as much this time), and we had our keys this trip!!!Because we were late, Daddy drove me straight to the Bible study without stopping. Since my friend Lisa is doing the study with me, I took Joshua along to keep her daughter Isabella company. Caleb was tired of traveling, so he went straight home with Daddy. When the Bible study was over at 8:30 pm, Grandma dropped me and the Bean off. We got both boys to bed and then I unpacked and started some laundry. We love to take vacations, but there truly is no place like home when you have little guys. Shawn was back to work the next morning, and we were back in our routine as well, as we celebrated Caleb's birthday that next day. Thanks for a great time, Grandma & Grandpa (and Erica!).
