Chuck E. Cheese

Instead of having a big party for Caleb like we typically do, we decided to go on vacation and do some special things just with him this year. He seemed to enjoy it. One place that I thought about taking friends (and then we decided to go spur of the moment instead) was Chuck E. Cheese. We printed out some coupons and headed there Friday night, July 6. We started by eating some terrible pizza there as a family. Shawn commented that the company is in bankruptcy, and we think that the food is one of the ways they go wrong. But, we did it anyway as a special treat for Caleb Luke.

 Then we gave the kids tokens and let them enjoy all the different arcade games.

 I think Caleb's favorite thing is to ride this time clock. Look at his priceless face!

 Joshua's favorite is usually the racing games.

 

At the end of our time there, we let the kids count up their tickets (in the machine) and pick out a toy to take home.

I don't remember what they picked, but I'd bet money that Caleb's was smarties or some type of candy. The boys had a great time! I love spending time together. :) :) :) It was a great start to Caleb's birthday weekend!
