On Wednesday, December 12, we wrote our letters to Santa.
I LOVE the picture of Caleb below. He wrote his letter a little differently this year (again, he's my boy that marches to the beat of his own drum). He decided to draw pictures of what he wanted and wrote the words for some of them. The first thing he drew was a couch. He would like a new couch and then he drew a chair next to it. I howled. Grandpa Georgia had stopped in for a cup of hot tea, and he cracked up as well. Other things he asked for were crackers (???), a ball and a jump rope. As he thought more about it, he asked for Angry Birds, games, puzzles, crayons, a cup and a camera.Joshua was very precise with his list and knew exactly what he wanted. The only time he got annoyed was when he thought he had to spell "princess" by himself and I told him not to get too hung up on it - Santa can read abbreviations if he wanted to keep going. He asked for a DS, Mario characters (including bowzer and princess peach), the bee mushroom and Mario from Super Galaxy 2, and the thing he's been really asking for lately, which is Transformers. His list was easy this year, and Santa still needs to wrap most of his gifts which are already purchased.
You can see all three lists below.
The boys helped me write Ryan's letter. I asked them what they thought Ryan should get for Christmas. Their responses were as follows: a cup (we are running low on sippy cups), books (my boy LOVES books!), baby crayons and baby papers (from Caleb), balls and a football (since Ryan has been all about footballs lately), a baby camera (again Caleb), a baby phone, music (Joshua), a flag (Caleb), puzzles (Joshua, knowing that Ryan LOVES to complete puzzles lately), a flashlight (Joshua) and snacks (Caleb). I love that they enjoy thinking of things for their "Golden Baby," now also being called the "Epic Baby."
