On Thursday, May 3 (AKA National Day of Prayer), our good friends gave birth to their son Aiden Michael Grube. Please keep this little guy in your prayers. He has some major medical issues and will need many surgeries, by sounds. Please pray that God would heal him and give peace to his parents! I went to the hospital to see them on Friday, May 4, and took this picture.
On Wednesday, May 9, it was Caleb's turn to take snack into preschool. We did the goldfish and yogurt-covered raisins in the butterfly bags that we had done for Joshua's class. Caleb had helped paint the clothespins when we originally made them for the Bean's class, so we just needed to make the butterflies the day before with our fresh ingredients. While the boys were both at preschool (our last day for them to be gone at the same time), I went to the grocery store with Ryan and ran some errands. That afternoon I worked on making two casseroles (one for us, one for the Grube's) and we took our friends the meal that evening so Shawn and the boys could meet little Aiden as well.
Isabella is constantly telling her parents that she wants to marry Joshua. We will see what the future holds! ;-) Congrats, friends!
